Can you customise the GoHighLevel sidebar menu?
Yes. With the customizer you can move the menu to the left, right or a top bar, collapse it to icons, restyle the header and change how sub-menus open, all from the editor and without editing GoHighLevel itself beyond the one-line install.
What is a GHL mega menu?
A mega menu opens all the sub-pages of a section, such as Sites or Payments, on one panel instead of a nested list. The customizer has 8 mega menu styles, from columns to an icon rail.
Which package includes mega menus?
Mega menus and the floating quick menu start at HQ Command. The basic layout choice (left, right or top bar) is in every package, including HQ Basic.
Does changing the menu remove any GoHighLevel pages?
No. Every page stays where GoHighLevel puts it in the app; the customizer changes how the menu looks and opens, not what is in it.
What is the floating quick menu?
A small menu that floats over every page with the destinations you choose. It comes in bubble, dock and rail layouts with several skins, and your team can drag it anywhere.
Will the top bar work on a phone?
Yes. On narrow screens the menu adapts, and the preview above has a phone view so you can check each layout before publishing.
Can I hide menu items from clients?
Menu visibility is still managed by GoHighLevel’s own roles and permissions. The customizer styles whatever each user is allowed to see.
Do menu changes need a re-install?
No. Once the line is in your white-label settings, layout and menu changes publish from the editor and appear on the next page load.
