GoHighLevel integrations and custom API work

Third-party integrations, custom API middleware and the small pieces of software a GoHighLevel build needs to talk to the rest of a business. Scoped in writing, built with error handling, and handed over with documentation.

SVC-01 // THE BRIEF

What this actually is

Support on a snapshot covers everything inside the snapshot. The moment a build has to talk to something outside GoHighLevel — a field service platform, a practice management system, a booking engine, an accounting stack — it stops being configuration and becomes software.

This is that work, and we scope it before we quote it. You get a written specification covering what data moves, in which direction, how often, what happens when the other system is down, and who gets told when it fails. That document is the deliverable you approve, not a verbal estimate.

What gets built is real engineering: authenticated middleware, retry and back-off, idempotency so a replayed webhook does not duplicate a contact, structured logging, and an alert that reaches a human. Handover includes the credentials pattern, the runbook and the failure modes.

What you get

  • Written integration specification before any quote is accepted
  • Authenticated middleware with retry, back-off and idempotency
  • Field mapping documented in both directions
  • Webhook receivers with signature verification where the vendor supports it
  • Structured logging and failure alerting to a channel you watch
  • Staging environment and a replayable test suite
  • Runbook covering credentials, rotation and the known failure modes
  • Post-launch support hours on what we built, to be used within 30 days

SVC-02 // PROCESS

Four stages, with named gates

Every stage has an owner and an exit condition. Nothing moves forward on a hunch that it is probably fine.

  1. 01

    Scope

A paid discovery that produces the written spec: data, direction, frequency, failure behaviour and ownership. You can take that document elsewhere if you want to.

  2. 02

    Build

Middleware, mappings and receivers built against a staging sub-account with a replayable test suite.

  3. 03

    Prove

Failure testing first — the other system down, a malformed payload, a duplicate webhook — then the happy path.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Runbook, credentials pattern, alerting, and post-launch support hours on the build to be used within thirty days.

SVC-04 // QUESTIONS

About ghl integrations & api work

Why is the specification a paid step?
Because it is the work. Anyone can quote an integration in a sentence; the value is in deciding what happens when the other system times out mid-sync, and that thinking is what you are buying. The spec fee comes off the build if you proceed.
Is this what "quoted separately" means on the snapshot pages?
Exactly this. Support on a snapshot covers the snapshot and its automations. Anything that leaves the platform is scoped here, or handed to a dedicated VA on a monthly rate if it is more admin than engineering.
Do we own the code?
Yes, outright, with the repository handed over. We keep no rights and we do not host anything you cannot take with you.
