GoHighLevel snapshot FAQ
Eighteen answers covering what a snapshot carries, what it cannot carry, how the licence works, what the services include and how billing and refunds are handled.
Snapshots
What exactly is a GoHighLevel snapshot?
A snapshot is a portable copy of a GoHighLevel sub-account configuration — funnels, websites, workflows, pipelines, custom fields, forms, calendars, triggers and templates — packaged so it can be loaded into another sub-account. It carries structure and content, not contacts or conversation history.
How do I install a snapshot you send me?
You receive a share link. Open it while logged into your GoHighLevel agency, choose the sub-account, and confirm. The import itself takes under two minutes; the configuration afterwards — business details, calendars, phone numbers, custom values — is what the written install guide walks you through.
Will a snapshot overwrite what is already in a sub-account?
Importing adds assets rather than replacing them, but identically named items can create duplicates and confusion. Every snapshot in this library uses a prefixed naming and tag scheme specifically to avoid collisions. If the sub-account already has a live setup, install into a fresh one and migrate deliberately.
Do snapshots include contacts, conversations or reporting history?
No. Snapshots carry configuration only. That is a GoHighLevel platform behaviour, not a limitation of the library — and it is why installing one is safe on an account that already has data.
How often are snapshots updated?
Every snapshot is reviewed at least quarterly and after any GoHighLevel release that changes workflow behaviour. All-access members get the updated version at no extra cost; single-snapshot buyers get twelve months of updates from purchase.
What if the snapshot does not fit my client exactly?
It will not, and it is not meant to. A snapshot removes the eighty percent that is the same for every client in a vertical so your team can spend its hours on the twenty percent that is not. If you want the whole thing shaped to your own process, that is a custom snapshot build.
What is actually inside every snapshot?
Nine components, on every snapshot in the library: AI Receptionist, AI Outbound Caller, AI Chatbot, a professional website, the Smart Appointment System, Review Harvesting, Review Automation, Database Reactivation and Lifetime Nurture Campaigns. Nothing is added to make a listing look fuller and nothing is quietly left out of the cheaper ones — what changes between snapshots is how deeply each component is wired for that vertical.
How quickly is a snapshot delivered?
Within 24 business hours of purchase confirmation. Business hours are 9am to 5pm Central, Monday to Friday, and we do not deliver at weekends — so a Friday-afternoon order lands on Monday. The share link, the written install guide and the module walkthroughs arrive together; there is no queue and no next batch.
Licensing
Can I install one snapshot into multiple sub-accounts?
Yes. Every purchase includes an agency licence: unlimited sub-accounts inside your own GoHighLevel agency, for your own clients, for as long as you hold the agency account.
Can I resell the snapshot itself?
No. You may deliver the configuration to your clients as part of your service and charge whatever you like for that. You may not distribute, resell or repackage the snapshot as a snapshot, and you may not list it on another marketplace.
What happens if I leave GoHighLevel?
The licence is tied to your agency. If you close the agency account the licence ends with it, because a snapshot cannot exist outside the platform. Anything you built on top of it inside client accounts stays with those accounts.
Do I own a custom snapshot you build for me?
Outright. A custom build is not licensed, it is transferred. It does not go into the library and we retain no resale rights.
Services
What is the difference between installation and onboarding?
Installation is one snapshot into one sub-account, rewired to one client, in 72 hours. Onboarding is your whole agency account — branding, domains, deliverability, phone, roles, snapshots and training — over 14 business days.
Do you work white-label under our brand?
Yes, and most of this work is delivered that way. We can stay entirely invisible to your client, including on recorded training and handover documentation.
Can you fix an account someone else built?
We start with a fixed-fee audit, because inheriting an undocumented build without looking at it first is how agencies end up paying twice. The audit fee comes off the remediation quote.
Do you offer ongoing management?
A monthly retainer covers build changes, new campaigns, monitoring and priority support across your accounts. It is a separate agreement from any one-time service, and we will tell you if you do not need it yet.
Billing & support
Do you charge to install the snapshot?
No. Installation is free on every snapshot we sell. What is finite is the dedicated time attached to it: twelve hours, to be used within ten days of purchase. Screen-share, async, or we drive while you watch — twelve hours to spend however is most useful to you.
What happens when the twelve hours or the ten days run out?
Anything further is quoted as paid work, at our normal rate, and agreed in writing before it starts. We say that on the product page rather than in a footnote, because "ten days of support" and "twelve hours to use within ten days" are different promises and only one of them is ours.
What does the free installation actually cover?
Installing the snapshot into the sub-account, rebranding the website to the client, A2P/10DLC registration and setup, email service setup so domain email sends through GoHighLevel, and a few extra automations where the client works in a way the snapshot does not quite cover. Third-party integrations, third-party software and custom software development are never included — those are scoped and quoted separately.
What does snapshot support actually cover?
The snapshot and everything inside it: import problems, trigger logic, workflow branches, pipeline stages, calendars, custom values and template copy. Adding a few more automations or adjusting the ones that shipped is part of that, not an upsell.
What is quoted separately?
Three things, and we say so up front rather than discovering it halfway through: third-party integrations, third-party API work, and custom software development. Anything that leaves the GoHighLevel platform is scoped in writing and quoted, or handed to a dedicated VA on a monthly rate if it is more admin than engineering. You always know which side of the line a request is on before any work starts.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. An order is non-refundable once it has been created and the snapshot link has been sent. A snapshot is a share link into a fully configured account — the moment it reaches you, you have it, and there is nothing to hand back. That is why every spec page sets out what is inside before you spend anything, and why we will open the account with you on a call first if you want one.
How is support delivered?
Every purchase includes email support on the snapshot itself. All-access members and service clients get a private channel with a named build lead and a same-business-day first response.
Do I need my own GoHighLevel account?
Yes. We are not a GoHighLevel reseller and nothing here includes a platform subscription. You need at least an agency-level plan to receive and install snapshots.
Can I pay in instalments for a service?
Onboarding and custom builds are split 50% to start and 50% at handover as standard. Longer schedules are available on custom builds over $8,000.
